Having built and continue to build the Lego Tranquil Garden, Bonsai Trees, and connecting them all together with a larger tree, I still wanted keep building Lego. My cherry blossom scene was really complete, but I wanted to look around and see if I could add anything else to the scene.
Behind the Lego Bonsai, the Lego Orchid was the next best set. Much like the Bonsai tree, it was not so outrageously priced at 5600円. It was an easy purchasing decision. Not long after receiving it in the mail, I built it on stream.
Much like the Bonsai, I am continually impressed by the unique building techniques and creative piece usage to create a Lego model that doesn't look like Lego.
Compared to the Lego Bonsai tree, the Orchid is huge. It was WAYY bigger than I expected. There was no way it would be able to combine with my with the Tranquil Garden and Bonsai trees in a natural way. So, it sits on a different shelf.
