I studied abroad in Nagasaki in 2006 and attended the Nagasaki University of Foreign Languages. I opted out of staying with a host family because I preferred to live by myself. So, I lived in the dorms with several other exchange students.
8 years later, now living in Japan, I returned to Nagasaki. To my surprise, the dorm had been torn down. Actually, maybe it wasn't so surprising given the state of the building at the time. Beardo was still there, and I was able to meet with Sachi and family. :)
