After looking at some of the responses of Armin van Buuren and Seneca at Visions, Spundae last Saturday, I do regret not going. One reason being that I've never been to Spundae when there was a DJ that I was actually REALLY into, music genre wise. The first time I was there was for Nigel Richards. He played some nice stuff, but I'm not that big a fan of house. And then the second/most recent time was Christopher Lawrence. American trance, one or two tracks were really badass, but other than that it was rather stale.

To add to this, I hear that Seneca also played an amazing set. I did want to hear him. I don't really know of any local Chicago DJs other than him that play trance. He was also handing out some promo CDs, too.
Sigh... and what is more regretful is that there really isn't any great event upcoming to Spundae within the next month. Hopefully, October will bring something. And with it, possibly someone to go with. Though, I'm sure I'll end up going alone as usual.
When it comes down to it, it was really a choice of one or the other. Armin would have been great, but last night was equally great. Though, I could have just talked with people today much like last night. Oh well... Armin'll be back. He was here in feb, may, aug. Looks like he's due in November. ^_^ Knowing my luck, he'll probably come on November 8th, so then i'll miss him again.
