This class focuses on creating and performing an English speech. It is intended for 1st year high school students in our upper level class. All students will create a short English speech and perform it for the class. From there, the best one or two students will expand their speeches (or write new ones) to compete in the regional English speech contest in September.
The class is designed to only last the first semester of the year. When complete, students will begin the lesson on paragraph reading and writing.
This course comes from my years of experience coaching students for various English speech contests.
