While visiting Taiji, and exploring all the locations I researched prior about their whaling and The Cove, I noticed a very prominent Buddhist Manji symbol on the side of a mountain.
What was up there? How could I get there? After finishing everything related to Taiji for the day, I looked up the location at night, and planned on going there on my way home the next day. After a very noisy night at a terrible hostel, I got out of there early in the morning, and went to the location.
Turns out putting a massive symbol on the side of your mountain makes it pretty easy to find. The symbol was quite huge and it led to the Mt. Myhozan Buddhist Amida Temple.
I didn't stay too long since I had a long journey back home with another stop on the way. Below are photos.
