Directly west of the Kadena US Base is where the Battle of Okinawa began, the only land battle of World War II between Japan and America. The Americans deployed on this beach on April 1st 1945, and moved east to take over the Japanese airfields.
Below are all the photos I took of the beach and nearby caves on my trip to Okinawa.
