The Ghibli Expo was a temporary exhibit showcasing the works of Ghibli films. Overall, there were three main exhibits of the expo. One exhibit focused on the Red Turtle, a recently released film which Ghibli films provided animation support. Another exhibit was a model airshow of a society who lived in the skies. And the main exhibit showed off the works of Ghibli film from the beginning to present.
Many of these exhibits would later be repurposed in the Ghibli Warehouse as part of Ghibli Park in Nagoya.
