St Croix River Riverboat

Stillwater is a classic midwestern city that tries its best to embrace its Minnesotan and Wisconsin history. The downtown area still keeps its flat storefront image, and one of the key features of the town is the vertically lifting bridge over the St. Croix River. To keep with its traditional roots, a company still offers rides of Riverboats that travel up and down the river.

My mother and I met up with my sister for a hot afternoon to try the experience. I think a lot of people tend to use the riverboat as an excuse to drink and have some decent food. But everything is so expensive these days. We just stuck with the buffet and enjoyed the views.
