This a visual database of all the games I have curated for the Analogue Pocket. This data was intended to be used to create Playlists, but it can still serve its intended purpose as a webpage.

Sort by platform and genre to view all of the games that I think are worth playing on all classic hardware available for the Analogue Pocket.

In order to show one of my favorite movies to a class at school, I made some dual language subtitles for Arrival. There is English at the bottom and Japanese on top.

The subtitles are timed to show each quote with the same information during the same time frame.

This is a complete set of Images and Overrides that covers all currently released cores for the Analogue Pocket.

I have caught many Shiny Pokemon while streaming Let's Go Eevee and Pokemon Legends Arceus on Twitch. I've also caught many Shiny Pokemon in Pokemon Go. I made visual checklists for Let's Go and Legends to use on Twitch, but now I've also made a checklist for Pokemon Go.

With these Checklists combined, I created an overall shiny checklist across all Pokemon games to see which Pokemon I have yet to catch Shiny. You can see my progress here.

Everyone in stuck indoors thanks to the pandemic, so why not try playing some video games on the Internet? I've started streaming games on Twitch, and every good Twitch channel needs some robots to help them out.

Schlock Bot is a program that runs chats commands on Twitch and Discord while I'm streaming with games for guessing Pokemon and taking bets on my Shiny Hunts!

This year, at our second Skills Development Conference in Gifu, I gave a quick talk and presentation about micro-aggressions. I quickly talked about what they are, what's the problem, and how to deal with them.

This was part of a session of "micro-panels" which consisted of 4 shorter talks about various subjects. So, I budgeted this at 10-12 minutes.

The following is the intended transcript I wrote for my talk. I also included most slides from the powerpoint, and the time-stamps from when I timed myself speaking.

In Gifu prefecture 岐阜県 when taking a dan 段 level examination for kendo 剣道, one of the components is a written test. The Gifu Kendo Federation provides a book which details all the questions and answers they use for this test.

I will take the test in November, and unfortunately for me, it's all in Japanese. So, I translated the book into English, and then made a few edits with a kendo dictionary after.

Currently, this is a work in progress. I've completely translated the first 3 parts. But for the 4th part of the book, I only translated the shodan 初段 level questions for now. I'll do the rest after November.

A couple weeks ago, I completed my online course for TEFL certification. The final assignment for the course was to write an essay about one of many different subjects available.

I choose to write about The Role of a Teacher.

I drew a new design for this year's SPAMM t-shirt. The theme, as always, was to incorporate the annually elected mascot into the design somehow. The 2012 mascot were two cats from some anime I've never heard of, or care about.

I've been a fan of electronic music for well over a decade. And I continue to listen to the music, both new and old, almost all day long. I'm always finding some new tracks, or great new artists I hadn't heard of before. The Internet continues to bring the world of music together, and people can easily display their works, get feedback, and evolve fast.

I have always had the fascination of putting together DJ mixes, and performing in front of a crowd, and for friends. It was too cost prohibitive back in the day. But my friends finally convinced me to give it a go. I already had collected a bunch of my favorite tracks I've heard over the years, and a whole bunch of new ones. I downloaded Traktor, and started mixing them together.

I made two DJ promos leading up to my friends annual end of summer party, where I was in charge of the music.

This is a term paper I wrote for my Math History class in college, which was an optional course offered once every 2 or 3 years. I felt lucky to take it, and it was very interesting going through the building blocks of modern day mathematics from a "math class" point of view, rather than the point of view of a "history class".

The paper answers the question, "Is Cardano's Solution a great theorem?"
