Wakayama Castle is one of the prominent tourist destinations in Wakayama City, and it was one of the last destinations on our list of places to go in the Kansai region. One of the legends of Wakayama Castle was of Black and White falcons flying above the city of Wakayama, constantly battling and fighting for supremacy. After looking at the paintings of these two birds, we looked out of the top floor over the city, and were able to see both birds flying around. At least, that's what it looked like.
